She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Aster and Sarah Sanders Kennedy; her siblings, Myrtle Strickland, Richard, Bill and David Kennedy; and her grandson Chad Williford.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine K. Williford (Joe) of Jamestown and James William Kivett (Janyce) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Allen Williford (Cameron), Jon Williford (Renae), Jodi Traen (Jeff), Philip Kivett (Kristi), Amanda Kivett, Ryan, Andrew, Noah, Chloe, Caedmon "Mo" Williford, Jordan, Matthew Traen, Victoria Lee, Gray, Brooke and Matt Steadman; and her siblings, Curtis Kennedy of Greensboro and Marie Strickland of Baldwin, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
