He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Martyn and Margie Seruggs Martyn. He is survived by: his son Matthew Martyn of Denver, Colorado; his sisters, Marla Howard of Swansboro and Patti Howard of Hubert; and his nephew Jarred Howard of Hubert.
