Rebecca Tankersley Bennett Obituary

We bid farewell to Rebecca Tankersley Bennett (Jacksonville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Rebecca touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan, Michelle, Courtney, Elizabeth and Kelly; her husband Al Bennett; her sons, Royce Bennett (Karen), Ray Bennett (Debbie) and Danny Bennett (Kim); her sister Linda Gardner; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Bennett (Connie), Paul Bennett (Vickie) and Loma Sue Chesney. She is also survived by "Grandma".

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blue Creek Baptist Church (1251 Burgaw Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
