He was predeceased by: his father Harry Bowen; his aunt Jennie (Doris); his uncle Gene Hill (Leslie); and his sister Patricia Kraker. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Newton Bowen; his children, Michael W. Bowen, Jr. and Brooke Bowen (Chris) of Jacksonville; his brother Robert Bowen (Cindy) of Leland; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Newton Randles (Alan) of Jacksonville and Stanfield Newton (Terry Kraker) of New York. He is also survived by numerous nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a great niece.
