She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elder and Elizabeth Wittine Elder; and her husband Rodger T. Downing, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Rodger T. Downing, Jr. (Constance) of Supply and Catherine Powers (Robert) of Esperance. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
