She was predeceased by: her daughter Theresa DeWilde Monday of Wytheville, VA.. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia DeWilde Pepper; her sons-in-law, Brian Pepper of Wilmington and Jody Monday of Wytheville, VA; her grandchildren, Kassie Grijalva, Derek (Marissa VanSell), Emily VanSell, Trevor (Lauren Amis), Taylor Amis and Savannah Monday; her great grandchildren, Mila, Laila and Iverson Grijalva; and her grandchildren, Mason, Asher, Ember and Colton VanSell.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Hope for the Warriors or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
