She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gardner and Elizabeth Gardner; her sister Lela; her brother-in-law John Laughter; her granddaughter Abbie Patterson; and her son-in-law Donnie Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her children, Lisa Patterson, Eddie Owens (Ashley) and Mary Pollard; and her grandchildren, Hayden, Sutton Patterson, Landon, Emma, Maggie Owens, Elizabeth and Marycathryn Pollard.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Anne's Episcopal Church (711 Henderson Dr, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Shriner's Children's Hospital, the ASPCA or to St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
