She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian William and Mary Alice Davis Rives; her brother Timothy Davis Rives; and her close friend Jennifer Jean Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Lewis Hoverman of Summerville, SC; her pets, Harry and Charlie; her daughters, Louanne Hoverman of Durham, NC and Megan Hoverman of Summerville, SC.; and also John Rives.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Wednesday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (127 Randolph Park Dr, Enfield, NC 27823).
