She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewie W. Wentz and Ludy Huff Wentz; her husband Donald James Coleman; her daughter Julie Ann Smith; and her brothers, Maurice and William S. Wentz.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Jones, Donna Reed and Jim Coleman; and her grandchildren, Justin Sanderson (Jenny), Wesley Long (Kristian), Stephen Casey, Ben Casey, Megan Phelps (Vince), Jesse Jones (Taylor), Heidi Peoples and Helen Jones.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Tuesday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jacksonville Church of God (210 S Shore Dr, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
