With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Earl Murphy of Jacksonville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 89. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Murphy; his son Antonio Murphy of Washington, DC; and his brother John Murphy of Maysville.

Viewing will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Belgrade (561 Spring Hill Rd, Maysville, NC 28555). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
