She is survived by: her husband Thomas Tharrington; her children, Kenneth Waterfield Jr. of Stella, Craig Waterfield of Avon, NC and Carolyn Creech of Henderson, NC; her stepdaughter Courtney Taylor of St. Claire Shores; her mother Yvonne Austin of Hatteras, NC; and her sister Gloria Swain of Frisco, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
