He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Felts and Edward Felts Sr.. He is survived by: his significant other Tami Felts; his siblings, Toni Dehart, Carol Dodgen, Bobby Wright, Tracy Durden and Miles "Scott" Felts; his children, Edward "Hugh" Felts III, Christina Ammons (Steven Ammons) and Adam Felts; and his grandchildren, Ariel Felts-Tijerina, Gavin Felts, Everli Felts, Aaliyah Ammons, Dante Ammons and Adelna Felts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Wine Christian Worship Center (1153 Wolf Swamp Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28546). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lowery Family Cemetery (122 Lowery Ln, Maysville, NC 28555).
