It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Plankey (Jacksonville, North Carolina), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Plankey and Ellen Plankey. He is survived by: his wife Diane of Jacksonville, NC; his sons, Dan (Modesti) of Raleigh, NC and David of Jacksonville, NC; his grandson Brock (Rio) of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Don (Marilyn), Barry (Jana), Rae Ellen, Robin and Cheryl.
