With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Sue Harden Uzzell of Jacksonville, North Carolina, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harden and Dimple Harden; her daughter Dee Dee Uzzell; and her brothers, James Harden and Maurice Harden.
She is survived by: her children, Milton Uzzell (Jenny), Roger Uzzell (Terri) and Ginger Webb (Joe Brewer); her brother Bobby Harden; her grandchildren, Jimmy Uzzell, David Uzzell (Crystal), Kylie Parkhurst, Samantha Benfield (Saint), Chase Webb, Sara Massey (Drew) and Chandler Uzzell (Hayley); and her great grandchildren, James Uzzell IV (JV) and Oaklye Rae Parkhurst.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Queens Creek Methodist Church.
