She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Leming and Mabel Leming; her husband Jack M. Farmer; and her daughter-in-law Janet W. Farmer. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Farmer (Kathy) of Sylva and Phillip Farmer (Renée) of Cashiers. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 bonus grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sylva First Baptist Church Raise the Roof Fund, 669 W. Main Street or to Skyland Care Center, 193 Asheville Hwy, Sylva.
