She was predeceased by: her husband Collie; her son John Washington; and her siblings, Louise Washington, James Washington, Willie Washington, Elizabeth Boyd, Rebecca Washington, Lucille Washington and William Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Coley Harris, Jr. (Evelyn) of Durham, Randy Harris (Evelyn) of Jackson, Michael Harris (Debbie) of Ahoskie, Sylvia Harris of Jackson and Joyce Harris of Jackson; and her sister Alee Ponton of Jackson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
