She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Parris and Rosa Mae Sellers; her husband Ray Gunter; and her brother Ervin Eugene Parris (Gene). She is survived by: her sons, Billy Ray Gunter (Jennifer) and Ray Michael Gunter Jr. (Pamela). She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a half brother.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
