He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dillard and Eva Beasley Dillard; his stepmother Edith Woodard; and his brothers, Ellis and Jerry Dillard.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Mae Green Dillard; his children, Kathy (Roger Ammons) and Danny Dillard of Sylva; and his siblings, Jack Dillard of Franklin, Gary, Rick Dillard of Sylva, Patsy Stephens, Cereeta Buchanan, Elaine Morgan and Sandy Dietz of Canton, NC. He is also survived by three grandsons, one great-grandson and two great granddaughters.
