She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Lewis Parks II and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jones; and her husband Edgar E. Edmonds. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl L. Lane (Jeffrey) of Sahuarita, AZ, Gary E. Edmonds (Crystal) of Weldon, NC, Ricky A. Edmonds of Jackson, NC and Lisa Koehnle (Chris) of Toano, VA; her grandchildren, Dustin Lane, Joshua Edmonds, Lori Ann Edmonds, Kenny Edmonds, Erica Edmonds, Christopher Hines and Krista Hines; and her siblings, Shirley A. Smith and William "Pete" Henry Parks. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (313 E Jefferson St, Jackson, NC 27845). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Askew Funeral Chapel (313 E Jefferson St, Jackson, NC 27845).
