He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Phillips and Harold Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Ann Godfrey Phillips; his children, Tonita High of Aberdeen, NC, Todd Phillips (Heather) of Vass, NC and Timothy Phillips of West End, NC.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Rachel High, Ella Phillips, Nicholas Phillips, Anna Phillips and Evan Phillips.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church (6244 NC-73, Jackson Springs, NC 27281). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at the Jackson Springs Cemetery (608 Mill Rd, Jackson Springs, NC 27281).
