It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaunita Ray McCleney of Jackson Springs, North Carolina, born in Chadbourn, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Hughes and Bertha Hughes; her former husband Richard Ray; and her husband Richard "Dick" McCleney. She is survived by: her children, Richard Ray of Raleigh and Lynn Ferguson (Todd) of Raleigh; her stepdaughters, Dickie Anne Carter (Gary) of Pinehurst and Cathy Barrett (Harry); and her grandchildren, Taylor Ferguson (Darcy) of Raleigh, Davis of Raleigh and Brendan Ferguson of Raleigh.
The family will be at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst to receive friends from 3:00-5:00PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020 and will follow Covid-19 guidelines.
