Emogene McGhinnis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emogene McGhinnis (Jackson Springs, North Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Stout and Fay Wilson Stout; her husband Winfred McGhinnis; her son Charles Ray McGhinnis; and her sister Louise Moody.

She is survived by: her daughters, Angela M. Moody (Mike) of Jackson Springs and Anna Leigh McGhinnis of Clemmons; her grandchildren, Jared Drew Moody (Elisabeth Bernstein) of New York, NY and Amber Moody of Southern Pines; her great grandchildren, Cleo Moody and Perrine Moody; her brother Ernest Stout (June) of Blacksburg, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Daisy Hollars and Beulah Howell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and special classmates.
