He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reece Comer and Louree Bailey Comer; his wife Annette Harmon Comer; his children, Reece Comer (Christina) of Eagle Springs and Amanda Comer Byrd (Timothy) of Jackson Springs; his brother Dossa Comer (Diana) of Jacksonville, NC; his siblings-in-law, Benny Harmon (Joan), Frankie Harmon (Mary), Bobby Harmon (Jan) and Debbie Harmon Hinson; and his grandchildren, Isabella Byrd, Wyatt Byrd, Michael Comer and Christopher Comer. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
