She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hudson and Florence Hudson. She is survived by: her children, Roy Sykes (Donna), Lamone Patronis (George) and Sheree Mabe (Jeff); her grandchildren, William, Clista, Morgan Sykes, Caleb, Garrett, Sean Mabe and Nina Patronis; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle Phillips, Penelope Sykes and Miller Mabe.
In lieu of flowers the family of Mrs. Sykes has requested that memorials be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
