He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace W. Christopher and Mozelle L. Christopher; his wife Joyce Reel Christopher; his brother William "Leonard" Christopher; and his grandfather Leo.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth "Louise" Houser of Lincolnton, NC; and his daughters, Sandra Kiser (Craig) of Cary, NC, Kimberly Barneycastle (Frank) of Denver, NC, Ramona Green of Raleigh, NC and Heidi Cook (Bill) of Kingsport, TN.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
