He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ballard and Lucille Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Helton Ballard; his grandchildren, Justin Gilbert (Camille), Jason Gilbert (Madison), Andrew Hord (Donna), Brandon Ballard (Monica), Ryan Ballard (Catherine), Tara Hayes (Dustin) and Nathan Roberts (Cagney); and his sister Verlene Paxton (Ken) of Lexington, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (5194 Old Plank Rd, Iron Station, NC 28080). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
