Vasiliy Derevyanchuk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vasiliy Derevyanchuk (Indian Trail, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Vasiliy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vasiliy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miron Derevyanchuk and Efrosiniya Derevyanchuk; and his wife Nina.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Slavic Evangelic Church (6308 Mill Grove Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hartis Grove Cemetery.
