She is survived by: her children, Rickey Jenkins of Baltimore, MD, Danny Jenkins (Nellie) of Cullen, Pattie Jenkins of Chase City and Shentel Gaines of Gastonia; and her siblings, Mary Scott of Richmond, Virginia, Richard Poteat (Yvette) of New York and Benjamin Poteat of Alexandria. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
