She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Thurman Taylor and Rosa Ward Steelman Taylor; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Capps (Alan); her stepchildren, Mark Mansfield (Joni) and Ashley Mansfield Edwards (Eric); her grandchildren, Dr. Matt Capps (Laura) and Katie Capps Barker (Todd); her stepgrandchildren, Megan Mansfield, Michael Mansfield, Maddie Mansfield, John Ross Edwards and Grayson Edwards; her great grandchildren, Solomon, Brody, Ruby and Abby; and her pet Scout.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 185 S Trade St, Matthews, NC 28105. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
