We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 81, Rhodes Dowdy Jr. of Indian Trail, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Rhodes "Pete" Dowdy Sr. and Geraldine Pittman Dowdy. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Ryan and Evan; his daughter-in-law Kirsten; his grandsons, Jack, Sam and Lee; his sister Gerry Nelson; his niece Amy Campbell; and his cousins, Patricia, Gene, Greg and Robin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Reseach Hospital in Pete's memory.
