She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Edward Brazzill and Amanda Jane Brazzill; her husband Hugh Mac Helms; her daughter Vickie Simpson; and her granddaughter Melinda Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Waters (Michael) of Norwood, NC, Larry Mac Helms, Sr. of Fairview, NC, Jerry Helms (Lupe) of Charlotte, NC and Lee Brazzill (Becky) of Monroe; and her brother Phillip Brazzill. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
