She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Brown and Carolyn Smith Brown. She is survived by: her husband Roger Thomas; her children, Beth Grover (Calvin) and Roger Thomas, Jr. (Shannon); her stepdaughter LeAnn Urbina (Juan); her grandchildren, Cameron Grover, Emma Grover, Bryson Thomas, Alyssa Urbina, Everly Urbina and Sophia Urbina; and her sister Sharon Brown Owens (Todd). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104).
