We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 69, Larry Wayne Helms of Indian Trail, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burvin Helms and Myrtle Chavis Helms; and his brothers, Gene Deese and Jimmy Deese. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Aldridge Helms; his sons, Michael Helms (Melanie) and Brian Helms (Amber); his siblings, Horace Helms (Robbie) and Carol Starnes (Loyd); and his grandchildren, Shelby Helms Tate (Austin), Gunner Helms and McKenzie Helms.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gordon Funeral Chapel (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
