She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hargett and Magdalene Hargett; her husband Wade Griffin; and her brother Harvey Hargett Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Powell of Matthews, Edward Powell of Los Angeles and Forrest Patterson (Heather) of Weddington; her grandchildren, Alexis Patterson and Mason Patterson; and her sister-in-law Mildred Marze.
