She is survived by: her children, Susan Hein Prudhomme (Jim) of Monroe, NC, James Hein (Beatriz) of Barcelona, Spain and William Hein (Janet) of Matthews, NC.. She is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren, Seventeen great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greater Charlotte SPCA (charlottespca.org).
