He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Tammy (Jeremy Smith) of Indian Trail and Mark (Kim Holman) of Lincolnton; his granddaughter Jessica Rivenbark (Jonathan) of Eden, NC.; and his sisters, Coralee Tyson of Monroe, Doris Martin of Asheboro and Carol Saunders of Charlotte.
