He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Rabb Blythe; his children, Charles E Blythe, II and Ashley Blythe Gibson (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Emily Blythe McPartland, Megan Blythe, Graysen Gibson and Harper Gibson; his great grandchildren, Blake and Remi McPartland; his nephew Brevard Blythe (Heather); and his niece Carrie Lare (Sarah Thomason).
