It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yates Edison Fulbright of Icard, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie F. Fulbright and Lemmie Abernethy Fulbright; his wife Ruth Bailey Fulbright; and his siblings, Phoebe Penland, Hannah Wilson and Charles T. Fulbright.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Bowman (Eric) of Morganton, Renee Abee (Joel) of Hildebran and Yates Fulbright Jr. (Armando) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Brian Bowman (Mary Beth), Emily Abee Hudson (Blain), Adam Bowman and Erin Abee Wall (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Dustin Hudson (Ashlen), Jacob Hudson, Davis, Jackson Wall, Hunter and Hannah Bowman; and his great great grandchildren, Emma, Alivia and Cason Hudson.
