He is survived by: his parent Sally Allen Long; his wife Peggy Porterfield Long; his son Linwood Long (Deborah) of Hurdle Mills; his sisters, Nell Whitfield and Doris Winstead; his grandchildren, Jessica Stephens (Ryan), Jonathan Long (Hannah), Jenna Long, Joseph Long and Gabrielle Long (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Aubree Shay Long, Braleigh Marie Long and Alivia Gail Long.
