She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Preston and Janie Odell Fox Whitfield; her husband Samuel "Sam" Thomas Hurdle; her son Michael "Mike'Thomas Hurdle; her granddaughter Brittany Hurdle; and her siblings, James Warren Whitfield, Janie Ora Whitfield and Louise W. Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Keith Hurdle (Kathy), David Wayne Hurdle (Lisa) and Diane H. Beaver (O. L.); her daughter-in-law Brenda Hurdle; her sisters, Phyllis Chambers and Linda Webb; her grandchildren, Phillip Beaver (Kelli), Bryan Hurdle (Jenny), Brock Hurdle (Morgan), Stephen Beaver, Kasey Hurdle, Brett Hurdle (Melissa), Joshua Hurdle (Stephanie) and Kristen Hurdle; and her great grandchildren, Danielle, Adam, Peyton, Mason, Logan, Grant, Collin, Mary Quinn, Hudson, Kenzie, Amelia and Marianna.
