She is survived by: her siblings, Amanda "Mandy" Garrett (Ronnie) and Corbin Whitfield (Leslie); her children, Charles "Bo" Reed (Karen) of Dawsonville, GA and Kimberly R. Malin (Eric) of Westover, MD; her stepchildren, Rob Brady (Beverly) of Durham and Amy Gerling (Lee) of Durham; her stepsisters, Martha Glisson (Donnie) of Durham, Nancy Moore of Durham and Penny Brown of Durham; her grandchildren, Brooks Reed, Davis Reed, Charlea Malin, Bryce Malin and Mason Reed; her stepgrandsons, James Staples, Paul Staples and Jared Staples (Angella); and her great grandchild Silas Staples.
