We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 83, Robert Baynes Rimmer of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hasten and Frances Allison Rimmer; and his sister Janie Masingale Nix. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gillis Rimmer; his children, Lisa Rimmer of Roxboro and Martin Rimmer (Susan) of Hurdle Mills; his grandchildren, Michaela Sparks (Charlie) of Morganton, Peter Corso (Tracie) of Greensboro, Addie Cowart (Aiden) of Hubert and Justin Rimmer of Hurdle Mills; his great grandchildren, Jolene Corso, Hank Corso and Elijah Corso; his stepgreat-grandson Jackson Getz; and his brother-in-law Clyde Nix.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
