We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021, at the age of 88, Rachel Martin of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse W. L. Martin, Jr.; and her siblings, Raymond Allen, Sue Allen, Newman Allen, Evelyn Allen Eggert, Marguerite Sharlow and Sarah Lea.
She is survived by: her children, Josie Bowman of Greenville, NC, Billy Martin (Dawn) of Hurdle Mills, NC, Betsy Paul Ann (Ray), Jennifer Milam of Hurdle Mills, NC and Jeffrey Martin (Lorie) of Morganton, NC; her grandchildren, Michael, Michele, Brett Bowman, Will, Dusty Martin, Erin Shelton, Dana Paul, Jason, Sarah, Drew Davis, Ben Milam, Elizabeth Eastwood, Joey and Megan Martin; her great grandchildren, Conard, Sophie, Oakes Martin, Darcy Shelton, Madison and Gavin Milam; and her cousins, June Allen Rogers, Alfred Snipes and Ermina Hester Hite.
