She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie David and Lonnie Beth Wrenn Clayton; and her siblings, Charles "Buck" Clayton, Sam Clayton, John Lawrence Clayton, Otie Clayton, Earlieteen Oakley, Betty Holt, Mildred Sparks, Eva Crabtree, Doris Wilkins, Alma Harris, Minnie Oakley, Alice Morris and Adele Oakley.
She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Dixon; her daughters, Sharon Kendrick (Tracey) of Carolina Beach, Malisa Adkins (David) of Roxboro and Tammy Carter (Rob) of Roxboro; her sister Linda Long (Rollie) of Roxboro; her grandchildren, Trevor Kendrick (Hunter), Tanner Kendrick, Alex Adkins, Sydney Adkins, Savannah Adkins and Preston Tingen; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Clayton and Elwood Holt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
