She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ewing Long and Sallie Maude Allen Long; her husband Allen Bryant Whitfield; her son Keith Whitfield; and her brothers, Bernard Long, Winfred Long and Ray Long.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda W. Dickerson (Charles) of Roxboro; her daughter-in-law Laraine Whitfield of Hurdle Mills; her sister Doris L. Winstead of Hurdle Mills; her grandchildren, Leslie Whitfield, Amanda Carey, Joshua Dickerson and David Dickerson; and her great grandchildren, Beau, Addison, Matthew, Charleigh, McKensie, Cade, Kameron, Madison, Kylee, Karis and Ava.
