He is survived by: his wife Brenda Latta Painter; his children, Chastity Painter Caldwell (Michael Beasley II) and Caleb Michael Painter (Mallory); his brother Glen Painter (Debbi); and his grandchildren, Chania Caldwell, Priya Caldwell, Brayden Piner and Kinley Piner.
