She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Walters and Alva Wilson Walters; and her brothers, John Walters and Frank Walters. She is survived by: her husband Michael Wayne Long; her daughter Donna Long Albert (Tony) of Timberlake; her sister Annie Ellis (Ray) of Bahama; her grandchildren, Carrie Bowers (Chris), Clay Albert, Genesis Albert and Sara Albert; and her great grandchildren, Isac Bowers, Allen Bowers, Layne Bowers and Winsten Albert.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
