He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jay; and his parents, James E. Winslow, Sr. and Louise W. Winslow. He is survived by: his brother John C. Winslow; his sons, Dr. James E. "Tripp" Winslow, III (Stacie), John "Mac" Winslow (Blythe), Collin Campbell (Sarah) and Walter Winslow (Mabry); and his grandchildren, William, Jake, Rachel and Alexander.

“I met Dr. Winslow last year at Robert's Service Mart. We had several conversations and through that I found out he sold cob corn . I bought a bunch from him last year and talked about getting more from him this year. he was a very nice, polite and genuine man. I am sad that he has passed. I was looking forward to seeing him much more for years. condolences to all that knew him.”
