She was predeceased by: her husband Donovan P. Chapman; her sons, Timothy Chapman, Ronnie Chapman and Donnie Chapman; her mother Gertrude Turner; her siblings, Leonard Wooten and Mable Turner; her grandson-in-law Ted Latta II; and her stepgreat-grandchild P. J. Ezell.
She is survived by: her children, Mechelle McCormick (Jim), Sherry Combs (Mike) of Efland and Lamar Chapman (Amanda) of Hillsborough; and her daughters-in-law, Darlene Chapman of Hillsborough and Cathy Andrews of Roxboro. She is also survived by loving grandchildren, (20) great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
