She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cleveland and Cora Aldine Fox Oakley; her spouse Toliver "Tolly" Wesley Blackard; and her son William "Bill" Edward Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Jones Williams (Don) of Eastover, Jeanne Misenheimer (Eric) of Mebane and Janice Mullis (Tom) of Burlington; and her grandchildren, Courtney Cole (Allen), Laura Beattie (Steven), Sara Kinlaw, Emily Parker (Wayne), Abbey Misenheimer and Jack Winstead (Amber). She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Global Methodist Church (135 Clay Long Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
